Just ogt this all set up in my 04 saturn ion but, it has a wire that hooks up to the speed detection circuit lead, to accurately display the speed the car is traveling on the unit.  DOes any one know maybe what color that wire would be as well as where the location in the interior is.  Thanks if anyone can find out.

i dont know too much about saturns but but usually the speed detector is located behind the dash and runs right to the side of the transmission, you can locate it by looking at the trans and u will see a big fat black wire that looks like it is pluged into your car, and just follow that wire up as far as you can then splice the other wire into it, it is very very hard to locate the wire behind the dash because they dont want people to dissconnect the speedometer to keep the miles of the car, any more questions let me know

If you look to the left you will see a link "VSS and Tach Info". If you clikc there you will see another link to a site that has a ton of info for vss wire colors and location. At any rate here you go.
VSS Wire: LOCATION 14- ECM POSITION 50, IF NO WIRE IN POSITION 50 MUST USE MAGNET PACKAGE 250-4165 FOR SIGNAL
VSS Wire Color: VIOLET
VSS Pulse: 10,000 , MAGNET 2000 SINE WAVE INPUT
VSS Tach Wire: IF MANUAL TRANSMISSION USE CLUTCH SWITCH 250-4206
Tach Signal Wire Color: WHITE
Brake Switch Positive: ORANGE
Brake Switch Negative: WHITE
DEI states it is found at the vehicle's wheel speed sensor.

You will likely have to install a speed generator on that car to get any kind of VSS signal. Use the one Auex suggested (250-4165). Your vehicle doesn't have a conventional VSS signal. It is done through the data bus in the vehicle.
