Hello guys, I've read the instructions on hot to bypass the cva 1000.

I have an IVA-D300RB. It's a UK model and I would like to know how to bypass the DVD safety system whilst I am driving. I understand the safety concerns. could anyone please give me some advice?

Any help would be appreciated,  thanks

i have heard from a friend that you should hook up the brake wire to the brake in the car. then hook up the e brake wire to a toggle. you will have to press and hold the brake then flip toggle start with it off before you press the brake then turn on off on.

Or, hook brake wire to ground on DVD/NAVI harness.

you cant hook it up to straight ground, because the unit needs to see the ground go away, and then come back. at least on mine it did.
