How do you get a home DVD movie to play in tha AVIC-80dvd, i have tried evething and it not in the manual. And the system is tell me it the worng disc. Can anyone help me with this set-up. I have a AVIC-80 and the MOINTOR -6210 Touch Planel. I just want to see if it would play a movie...........Thanks

From what I just read about this unit its not designed to play DVD Movies.....Only DVD Navigation....

Its saying wrong disc cuz its looking for the DVD Navigation disc.....Not all Nav units will allow you to play DVD Movies.....I will look into it a little more but I think you will have to buy a DVD Movie Player to do this....

Nav units don't play dvds they only read dvd roms.

Pioneer state that : And when you're not navigating, use the AVIC-80 DVD to play DVD movies for rear-seat passengers (screen optional). What are they talking about.

You cant play DVD's on the AVIC 80DVD you can play them on the higher model nav units
