Hi,

I just got my in dash tv and installed it two days ago. Today, while closing it, I accidently put pressure on the lcd screen with my thumb. Now theres a big ink blot on the screen. The tv still works however. Is there anyway I can get the lcd screen replaced w/out having to purchase a new tv unit??

NO. That is most certainly not covered under any warranty.

i know its not covered under warrenty, this was clearly my fault. Just wondering is there a way to replace the lcd screen....I'd hate to have to buy another tv and wait another week to get it.

If waiting is your only concern then buy a new one because you would probly have to send it to the manuf. to get it fixed and that could take longer.

I called the company I bought it from, and they told me to ship it back to them, and for $37 (25% of the cost of the tv) they'll ship me a new one.
