Hi,

I recently put a PS2 slimline into my car which i'm currently running with a 500w power inverter. Does anyone know if it's possible to get a transformer made to go from the cars 12v DC to the PS2's required 8.5v DC without going all the way to AC with the power inverter like i'm doing at the minute.

cheers,

Kieran

I wouldn't do it without the inverter. The power in cars fluctuates too much. With the inverter it will smooth the power out and keep it a constant level. I was wanting to do the same thing with my gamecube. The gamecube runs on 12 volts. A tech at nintendo gave me this advise.
