I found a website that has what i think to be some good deals on video screens.  I'm a little confused with some of the resolution numbers.  can anyone tell me what to look for and what to stay away from.  I don't need anything fancy, i will be installing about 3 to 6 of them in my Motorhome for the kids to watch.  They don't need super high quality monitors to watch toy story.

thanks

The better the resolution or more pixels....the better it will look. Most likely the prices for the tv screens will be higher too. Im not sure what would be good for you. You might wanna list the brand/resolution of the screens your looking at.

You're right.  I should have posted more info.  sorry about that.  Here are the ones i'm looking at:

Pyramid MV7RM 7.2" LCD Overhead Monitor 640x840

Legacy LSWR7200 7.2" Celing Mount Flip Down Monitor 1034x234

Pyle PLVWR7300 7.2" Flip-Down TFT-LCD Color Monitor 1152x234

again, there are probably far from "top of the line" but it's just for the kids in the motorhome while we are on long trips.  Here is the website i am looking at in case anyone has had any good or bad luck with them:

Thanks

Yeah your right....they are far from the top of the line. Out of the 3 you posted....I would go with Pyle. Better screen resolution and better brand in my opinion.

Just how bad are they?  what did you not like about them?  is the quatlity even too poor for a children under the age of 10 who just want to watch DVD's while we drive down the road?

thanks

We actually have the mvr7xx headrest models, same screen i believe. The picture, clarity, view angle and pixels are not good. We have a 6 yr old and he complains of the poor picture, I have a video booster and have adjusted all the settings till I'm sick. I'm now looking a

Pyle
Product #PLVHR85M

That looks to have fairly good specs. I'm by no means an expert I just want something to keep the wife and kid(s) happy. I'm open to any suggestions also on a 7-8" monitor.

The guy I bought them from would not let me exchange or upgrade and pay the difference for a better unit.

From what I've seen, your not going to get a descent product from any of those companies. I found these two at etronics, they cost a bit more, but are a much superior product.

Yikes!  I didn't want to spend that much.  I think it's time to visit some stores and to some comparisons.  Of course, i could just fork out the dough on a huge drop down screen in the front of the RV and just be done with it.  everyone watches the same DVD.  oh well, thanks for all the responses.

i'll be watching for any more suggestions.
