cva 1005 intlz button #6

I have an alpine cva-1005 and in order to set the time or program stations the book says to choose source then hit intlz. well, the intlz button is not highlighted. (not available). for now, i do not have the hand or foot brake wired up yet, I'm only running audio thru 'er. i'm not sure how to hook up the brake wires, i ran the hand brake wire to the switch on the e-brake and the foot to the switch on the peddle, but nothing changed. It shouldn't matter though should it? any ideas?low tech

Well make sure the foot brake is positive and the hand brake is negative. Then hold the foot brake, pull the hand brake, release the hand brake, pull the hand brake(leave engaged), and release the foot brake. This should put the unit into video mode and you should be able to make the adjustments you need to make.Certified Security Specialist
