Panasonic 9" overhead monitor with dvd player:

It has three wires for the dome lights on it.  Yellow = +, black = -, and white = dome light trigger

The Envoy also has three wires for the dome light.  Orange = constant 12V, gray/black = light positive trigger, black = ground.

I can't get anything to work for more than 10 minutes.  I tried just hooking it up to where you can flip the switch to "on" for the dome light.  It worked once, then 10 minutes later, not again.  I want to make it trigger with the dome light of the Envoy, or switch on with the switch.

Anyone got a fix for this?

Yellow-orange.
black-black.
white-relay-gray/black.
You have to convert the polarity of the car's door trigger to make it work with aftermarket units. Wire the relay like this, 85 ground, 86 door trigger from car, 30 ground, 87 output to monitor.
Also, the 10 minute thing bothers me. Are you just sitting there and it just turns off? Do all the other lights turn off at the same time? Just curious because gm turns the car's lights off after a period of time, usually 20 minutes.

I tried using a relay to invert the polarity.  It did the same thing.  Worked a few times, then nothing.   I never sat in it long enough to find out if it just died.  That's just an average time between times that I was in it or tested it.
