Hey I am thinking about putting a AVIC-N1 or a AVN-2454 in my 01 sport trac. So I have a few basic questions.

1. Which model should I go with?

2. If I do go with AVIC-N1 How does the single din look rather then double din?

Thats it for now. Thanks

IMHO - I think the maps & info are better on the Pioneer, especially on the AVIC-N2. The AVIC-D1 is just coming available, it is a double -DIN like the Eclipse, but doesn't do DVD playback on its built-in drives. Ilike the look of the 2DIN units - looks more factory. If you do a single DIN, you'll need a kit & then you you have the issue of the kit texture/color not matching the rest of the dash, but you would gain a pocket!
Experience gained is directly proportional to the amount of equipment destroyed - break it & learn!
