I have a 1998 dodge stratus sedan 2.4.  I wanted to know what is the reversegear signal input that is mentioned in the AVIC-n1 installation manual,  where is it located, and what color is it?

go in the trunk, take out the taillight and find the light bulb that lights up when the car is in reverse. Find the wire on that bulb that shows 12 volts when the bulb is on, and attatch it to that.

I didn't even wire up the reserve signal. I don't think that it makes that much difference.

It makes a difference if you are using a rear view camera. That is how the screen knows to switch to the camera when backing up. You dont really need it for gps, because the system will eventually correct the posistion of your car if it is wrong. But for how much an N1 costs, why cut corners like that with something so simple?

Where does the ORANGE / white cable, the one in the power chord connect to. In other words, what is the lighting terminal.
