Hey all, I have the AVIC-N2 and wanted to install a ps2 as well as two Power Acoustik monitors (PT700-MHR) http://www.cardomain.com/item/POWPT700MHR in the headrests. I know how to do the headrests installs but can you guide me on how to wire the ps2 with the inverter to N2 and then what kind of cables to run to the N2 as well? Thank you very much

What i know is that power inverter to ps2 and battery, then ps2 to the AV inputs on the hideaway box and the monitors have SINGLE RCA COMPOSITE INPUT so im not sure how to wire that.

I have one of those monitors and it has a really nice picture I was very pleased with the price. Anyway...
from the monitors you can just use regular RCAs. I had a cheap set that I slpit in half and ran from the video out from the PS2 to the monitors. I also have 2 monitors so I just used a regular Y adaptor/slpiter to split the video signal. Hope that helps you some.
oh and although it voids the warranty, you don't need a power inverter to run an old PS2 in the car. Not sure if the newest slim ones are the same, but with the old ones you can take it appart and actually hard wire it to the car. Once you have the board out you will see 4 pins. 2 pins are + the other 2 are -. Pretty self explanitory from there. I wired mine to the ignition and with a switch so I can still turn the PS2 on and off.

Sorry, you can NOT post a reply.
