I just noticed that the discription for the Navigation upgrade discs for the N1, CNDV-50MTP, says that it has nearly 11 million POI's.  That's funny.  The older v1.2 upgrade disc is described as having 12 million POI's.  Besides the upgraded menus and XM  NavTraffic what in the hell was upgraded?  It certainly seems like the POI's were downgraded, unless there was an additional 11 million POI's added to the already 12 million but that seems highly unlikely.  What happened?

If I am not mistaken, and I may be, the 12 million from last year included telephone number lookups. This year the 11 million are true POI's, and from that point you would add the phone numbers.

The real update was in the mapping.  I have found that its much better now.  From what I read about the number of POI, they lowered the number of POI because there were certain addresses(buildings) with multiple phone numbers being counted twice (or something like that, don't remember the details.)  It still has 10,000,000 business phone numbers like last year though
