03 lincoln navigator factory dvd

nobody knows the answer to this? i thought there was a lot of pro installers in here...

thanks a lot!!! finally someone that knows... btw how do you get the dvd unit down. a while back i tried to take it down cause i wanted to look inside but after removing the 4 screws it was still stuck up there. do i have to pull real hard or something? i'm gonna try this this week. thanks again!

well, i guess the expedition and navigator wiring is different. none of the pins or color of wires exist. i took it to the shop that installed my head unit and they figured it out. no charge. they found the siginal coming from the red and black wires at the back of the dvd player. they tapped it and touched the leads to the head phone jack. you could hear the audio but it was not loud enough. they converted the red and black wires into rca's and installed a line booster to make it louder. they ran the rca's from the dvd player to the center console's head phone jacks and hard wired it. now the audio is very loud through my head phones. i needed head phones with volume control because without that it would play at full blast. now my ceiling mount dvd player isn't useless anymore and people in the back can watch a movie and i can still listen to music through the car speakers or watch another movie/play playstation while my fiance drives.
