Hello,

New here to the forum...Great place!

Anyone install an AVIC-D1 in a Titan? Just got my HU today...

Looking for the three wires...Speed wire, parking brake and reverse wires...Any problems not hooking the brake or reverse wires up? I will be running a back-up camera...

Any help is appreciated!!

Reverselight wire is RED / green or RED / black + polarity and is in the inside rear view mirror, you'll need that for a triger to turn on the rear view cam and switch the screen over to rear. CHECK this wire before commiting to use!!!You'll need to run a relay through this one to achieve the desired result.

Parking brake is green and is located in the parking brake switch or cluster this wire is Neg.

Speed Sense is WHITE/ red it is located in the cluster or shift lock control unit, this wire reads 8 pulse The shift lock control unit is behind the glove box, to the left.

Also found at the AV switch on vehicle with the midline and premium audio systems. Good luck , let me know if this helped

Got it done today...

The bypass worked like a charm too...No DVD on the D1...Just wanted to use all the NAV features...My wife is the navigator!
