Car; 1998 Nissan Pathfinder SE

I'm trying to find out what would be the best way to do this, because it's really starting to urk me a little bit;

Now, currently I have two Legacy Universal Sun Visor Monitors in my truck (The kind that replaces the entire Sun VIsor itself). At first when I got them, I was happy abouit em, although the spacing between the monitor and the roof of the car was a bit wide (I tried to live with it, I swear). However, as the months go by, it starts to get more and more on my nerves. Now anywhoo, a friend of mine told me that I could've just gotten the flat lcd monitors that go over the Factory, or are mounted within the Vanity Mirror space, which is cool, I can dig that - however, I'm not even sure if it's possible.

I got bored one day, and decided I was going to cut open (With all intents of replacing it) one of my factory visors, just to see the actual structure, and how it would be installed if I did get those flat types and it turns out that my sun visor is made of this hard plastic casing, that I couldn't even cut open for nothing without breaking it. (Which I did. - like I said I got kind of frustrated).

Now that leaves the question; should I still get the flatscreens and have a professional do it (And if they can't, that's my money down the drain), stick it out with the ones I already got installed in the truck (Even though they are starting to urk me) or go ahead and cop like one of the flip down models and go back to using my factory sun visors?

Cause I swear, if I have to look at them bulky muh'****as again, Imma rip em down and call it a night.
