Alright I just installed the ddx8017 last night and i can get teh stock speakers to work off the units internal amp.  However I can't get teh RCA pre outputs to turn on for the life of me.

I went throught the manual 2 times and I didn't see anything that says that i have to turn the RCA's on.

Are the RCA's on automatically?  or do I have to turn it on myself through the internal settings.

I have an external amp thats hooked up to the front speakers only

I dont' have the navigation installed or TV or any options.  just the unit itself.

anyone with 7015 7017 6017 help me out here?  what

any help will be appreciated

my bad about the other reply.... i've done plenty of double din kenwoods and i haven't had to turn of any preouts before... i have the ddx8017 in my car and i hook it straight and worked the first time.... best thing i would suggest is bench testing the tv and amp making sure everything work correctly.....
