Does anybody know if anyone makes an interface to feed video into the factory nav display on an 05 pathfinder? i already looked on nav tv's site and they dont have anything availiable, does anyone know of any other companies that make interfaces for factory nav screens?

Google search these:
HCNI-0005
Peripheral
GNET_RGB_NISSANINF
I am currently trying to get the GNET_RGB_NISSANINF to work. I might have a bad unit though.

So far I have tried 2 different nav-interface video switchers and the both DO NOT work! Nissan must've changed something on the LCD screen for their 2005 year Nissan Pathfinder. A lot of sites claim that their unit works for the 2005 pathfinder, but what they fail to state is that none of them have even bothered to verify first hand that it in facts works. AWell I have and I spent a lot of money for installation costs that led to failure and frustration. After telling them my story, all they say is "Well we can't test every single car year, make and model out there!" And how is that my problem? So they're allowed to place false advertising and let the consumer waste several hundreds of dollars on something that'll never work?! I won't buy an interface for the 2005 pathfinder again unless somebody can physically show video working on the 2005 pathfinder's lcd screen. So far, it's been only done on the 2005 Armada, Maxima, and 2004 pathfinder models. Don't post working units for sale unless you have physically installed one yourself and seen it working.

For some reason or another, the nav-interfaces do not work for the 2005 Pathfinder. I know that they work for pretty much all other Nissan models. The HCNI-0005 is what a lot of places carry and work for a lot of cars. The person I spoke to said that this particular vehicle is not supported, which is the reason why this manufacturer or even NavTV do not list the 2005 Pathfinder as a vehicle that is compatible. Not all Nissan vehicles share the same Navigation system just because they appear to look the same. If someone has been able to make it work with the '05 Pathfinder, please let me know. Although I have a feeling that I won't be getting a response back...
