CVA 1006 problem

I boutght this car that has CVA 1006,2 DVD player ALpine 5205,NVD-A121 Navigation and two overhead Alpine screens.

Problem with the CVA is when I try to get to the setup menu it wont let me. I hit the source button and the screen comes up but when I hit the setup button (which is #6) on the screen nothing happens and it wont let me do anything.

The #1 button(SRC) is depressed I think it says (at least on the screen it appears it is) and all the other buttons work.

If I use the #6 button on another menu it works fine it just wont let me get to the setup menu and change the clocke time or anything.

Is this common problem? Its only 3 years old and I just got it so I hope it can be fixed or I am missing something?

The Set up Will Not Work If You Have The Safty Switch Hook Up

if your dvd player work, (Playing) than you can use your set up
