Subaru Tribeca, Kenwood Nav, Need Audio

I have a B9 Tribeca Ltd. Apparently the Nav unit is a KNA-DV4100 with a Panasonic radio w/ 6 CD changer built-in - no changer port is available. I'm trying to find a way to add an audio input for the iPod. There are two Subaru owners who have created a connection via an add on circuit (that they produce) that plays through the CD - you need to have a 'blank' CD playing in order to use it. I don't want that solution. The other alternative is a direct FM modulator to inject a signal directly into the antenna harness - that would work OK - but not as good as a direct input. If you have the Ltd edition WITH a DVD player for the rear seats you get two aux audio inputs in the rear seat. I do not have the DVD player. Based on some posts, the wiring goes from the DVD player through the Kenwood. The Kenwood Nav then outputs the audio to the Panasonic - you need to select the RSE/AUX button in order to hear it. It seeems to me that I could add an audio input into the Nav and then on to the Panasonic AUX. There would need to be some way to trigger the AUX button to recognize there is an audio stream available from the Nav unit. Does anyone have the wiring diagram available for the KNA-DV4100? Even on older model digram might be the same connections. Thanks for any advice / help.

any luck, i've made alot of headway with the nav cable and rgb pin out.. today i am going to install a rear view cam. mainly interested to find out where the reverse whire connects to.. also i do not think that this unit is the 4100, it might be the 3200 or 3100, its missing a few data connections in the back.
