I am trying to adapt this mirror to a PT Cruiser.  It has a 10 pin connector (2 rows of 5) with orange, yellow, green and white wires.    The windshield mount is not wedge shaped, but square with rounded corners.    I searched here, but found nothing regarding this mirror.

Where can I get a connector to match the mirror and a wiring color code?

Is there a mounting adapter available to match the Cruiser's?

OK   I'll ask a more basic question.  The 10 pin connector (2 rows of 5) must be commom to many Gentex mirrors.  Can anyone provide the pinout for the orange, yellow, green and white wires.  I searched here, but found nothing regarding this connector.

Thank you.

Thanks MO.     I had talked to a person at MITO and was told me they couldn't help me unless I bought the mirror there.

There is a 10 pin connector on the mounting bracket.  Only 4 of the pins have wires that go inside the back of the mirror.

The only mirror functions are automatic dimming and Homelink buttons; there is no temperature or compass display.  I'm assuming that there is +12V, -12V, switched +12V and "maybe" a connection to turn off the dimming when in reverse.

The guy I got it from didn't know what car it came off of.  I had a windshield shop compare the windshield mounting adapter to those in a catalogue and determined that it could have come out of a Hyundai (Elantra,Sonata,Tiboron) or some Mitsubishi models.

Anyone have any ideas on the pin out for this mirror.  The connector shows the following:  pin 6 white, pin 7 green, pin 8 yellow, pin 10 orange.

Does anyone know how to peal the mirror open without wrecking it, so the I can look at the connections on the PC board?  Maybe I can figure it out from there.
