should I " tap" into for power? Buy a batter terminal or find the power wire going to the stereo and tap in? Or is there another way?

And thanks for any help. Just trying this seemingly simply job on my own. I dont want to pay 50.00 for what should be a 10 minute wiring job.

i would run a seperate power source from the battery, use 10-12 guage wire and you should be fine.

I went and bought the needed wiring kit at Best buy.

An New question ( thanks for answering the first) In the space were the LCD motorized screen is going to be placed there is a metal support that runs the length of the dash. Can I use that for a ground? Or is there another better suited location?

Thanks!!!

James
