I installed my AVIC-N2 in my new truck and the hideaway unit is under the back passenger seat, in the correct positioning.  The direction of the vehicle doesn't point in the correct position.  Anyone know whats wrong...?

Do you mean it's not pointing up for north?  If so try touching the little red and white diamond on the screen on the bottom right corner of the map screen.  That changes the north direction of the screen while driving.

No, his problem is weird, it'll point left and still track up.
I couldn't find an answer for him.

Is the unit installed at an angle? My z1 has an installation angle setting in the setup menu that must be set correctly for NAV to function properly.

Its installed under back seat, Squared up and level.  The little car picture on the HA (hideaway) unit is pointing straight forward....like its suppost to......   I guess i'll try to play with it tonight and see if i can get it to point where the car is pointing.   Weird thing today....on my way to work...it points 90 degrees to the left of my actual travel direction....as i pulled in to the parking lot at my work, the thing started pointing to the correct direction.  I havent checked it yet, but i will on my way home here in 5 mins.   See, If I were to rotate the HA unit, wouldn't that make my GPS compass be off???

Navigation Directional Pointer off -- posted image.    Good news fellas!  I got into the truck to go home from work and the damn thing started going off position... The good news is....I was messing around with the options and settings and stumbled across the 3D calibrating.  I noticed that the Miles, Speed sensor, and the 3D Calibrate were never reset.  Apparently when the AVIC-N2's are reset from the external reset button, they don't fulling reset.  Thus leaving me to believe that since I originally installed this AVIC-N2 in my old Mits. Eclipse (at a totally different location-direction car pointing) the unit thought it was still in the same position that it was taken out at.  When I reset the 3d Hybrid ("Learning" Computer), it re-initialized sensors-meaning WOOOOHOOOO!!!!!!!!   Thanks again for everones efforts....
