Hey guys. I am looking to swap my AVIC system into my new commuter car and I was wondering if everything would work out. I don't think a vehicle from 1982 has a VSS wire, but can I still run the navigation system without the speedo connection? Will this affect me in any ways? Thanks for any advice.

it should run it in hybrid mode, just reset the calibrations, i did that on my d1 and it actually works better than having the speed wire connected.
