I have a avic n3 I just bought a n2 faceplate because I cant find my old one they told me it would work for all 3 the avic n 1 2 and 3?

my second question is I got the code for lockout bypass for video and wanted to use it but i am worried about the warranty also it is the bypass code for the n2  hope fully it is the same as the n3 as my dealer tells me to bring it in and they will open the unit and d/c a wire-it says to find the silver sticker labeled r197 and put solder in between them? wont that void the warranty? then it says ground park brake?

does anyone have the correct way to bypass all the junk on the screen?

where did i put my faceplate!!!!!!!
