I purchased a headrest (dual) video entertainment system.  Since my vehicle ('06 Ford Freestyle) does not have any slots remaining on the dash for the DVD player, I plan to install the unit inside the center console (vertically).  This console has a 6.5" internal width, so I intentionally purchased a DVD unit with only a 6.3" width (6.3" x 6.3" x 2")  The center console has an internal 12v outlet for a simple power source.

My specific question is... will the DVD Player overheat in this confined space??  I  calculated the total volume of this console space is 0.25 cubic foot.  Thank you...
