Hey guys,
I'm installing a Pioneer D1 in a 98 Infiniti I30t and am having probs getting a good VSS lead. I tried the pink/blue wire in the gauge cluster and the navi is reading speeds about half of what I'm actually traveling at (at 23-25 mph on the speedo it's reading about 11-12mph on the Navi vehicle dynamics screen).
Is this the correct lead for the car or is there another location? I've tried searching this site's wiring info and it tells me to use the pink/blue from the CCM under the dash. I tried that (I believe its the silver box same height as the steering column but mounted close to the center console) and got the same results.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

the D1 only uses the VSS to enhance it's accuracy, it still uses the GPS to determine speed and direction travelled.
