I have the Avic N1 and just last week when the screen is out there is no picture. The Avic works like normal, but I can't see anything on my screen, if I push the screen it makes the noises like normal, but just nothing on it.

I tried resetting it by pushing the reset on the console and still nothing! I can't figure this out. When the screen is in the dash the normal stuff comes up like song title or time, but when it's out there's nothing. If anyone has had this problem or knows how to fix it please let me know.

I saw an auction on eBay for fixing it, but it's $120.

I have the same problem (mine also lost function to all the buttons on the front of the unit). Pioneer thinks it's the ribbon cable causing the problem. For only $200 and 10 days without a radio , they will be happy to fix it ; ) I havn't sent mine in yet, so I don't know for sure if that is the problem, but I've heard of lots of problems with the ribbon cable on these.
