Need help determining if a Hummer H3 nav radio will work in a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer.  The trailblazer has the regular bose amp not the luxury amp

you will need the dealer at the very least program the deck to work in another vehicle.

I was aware that the vin number had to be prgrammed but I was told from another forum that the nav radio would not work because of the amp which is a gm monsoon amp instead of bose.

If the Nav radio is out of H3 Hummer, it will not work. You have to program the radios in these vehicles with a GM computer/software that not only stores the VIN but also dictates how the system is configured. The GM computer will see that the radio is wrong and won't allow you to program it.

Installed the radio today without having the vin programmed and it worked just fine, still have to figure out a way to make it fit though because of the pop out face, I removed the brackets from the old radio and everything lined up only problem is the face wanting to push against the dash bezel.

Don't say I didn't warn you. You may have caused serious problems with your truck. If your truck was under warranty it isn't any longer.
