i have a kenwood kvt 717 that i have installed in my vehicle and i am trying to find out where to look for the reverse wire so it can be enabled as soon as i go into reverse.

LIGHT GREEN (+) at the switch on the driver's side of the transaxle or go to the light at the rear. Most times if you know the wire color you can see if the wire ends up being in the loom of wires on the driver's side door sill and see if you can find a wire that will test (+) when in reverse that is the same color as the one at the bulb in the lights.
