I am looking for an overhead dvd console for my 2006 chrysler town and country. Its not the touring or limited model, its the LX. I also have several questions on installing it with the overhead rear air controls. Any help would be better than where I am right now. Thanks.

I believe Audiovox has an overhead unit that will work perfectly for this vehicle. Not sure of the part number but it does have the dome light and is short enough to not interfere with the rear controls.

Avox makes one, it relocates the air controls back further. Do a search for part number 1187255PL  or 1187254PL and you will find it. These are for no sunroof, no rail system. The first one is for larger screens. Both will require an insert which fits into the center of the console.

Yeah the Audiovox one works great if you don't mind using an Audiovox tv as well. It can be a pain trying to get slack on that air control harness, but you can usually get just enough out of it. I have also installed tvs w/o a console on either side of the rear air controls per customer request. Works out pretty well also just doesn't look as good.

I was also wondering about the ducts for the rear air. Will they be anywhere near where this console goes? And do you usually just get the 12 volts from the air controls or try to bring a new wire for circuit by itself? Hope I'm not bothersome but I have alot of questions and thanks for the replys already!!

No air ducts in the way, the kit fits well from Avox. Get power from the dash....
