I have a alpine cva 1004 head unit that I am upgrading to a pioneer avh p5700. The alpine is a stand alone lcd screen/amp while the avh p5700 is a screen/amp/dvd player. Can I use the same wiring harness from my alpine unit for the pioneer?

No those harnesses aren't compatible. Come to think of it, I don' t think any companies harnesses are compatible.
