Anyone have experience with the doing a video module in a 2007 Escalade? We installed a G-Net Video In Motion module, which gives you Video In Motion AND an AUX composite video input. However, we can't seem to access the aux video input(in this case an xbox). Read through the directions several times and spoke to G-Net, but they didn't seem to know why the AUX video input doesn't work, there is supposed to be an "AUX" button on the radio and there isn't one.
This 07 Escalade doesn't have the rear entertainment package like most, is it possible the truck needs to be programmed by the Dealer to think it has the rear entertainment package in order for the aux video input on the G-Net module to work? G-Net so far hasn't been much help and they are closed now. Any ideas??

Not sure if this helps but I found this:
Automatic or Manual Override Modes:
The latest revision of the GNET GM Unlock Nav & DVD Override Module allows for the override to work automatically without the need to press any buttons to enable the DVD in motion feature. However, to override the "graying out" of the navigation address input as well as XM channel scrolling you still must press the drivers side window lock button 4 times. The unit can also be setup for "Manual DVD Mode" which requires you to press the voice / mute button on the steering wheel to activate the DVD / Aux input in motion.

Manual Mode Only-> Enabling DVD Playback & Auxiliary Input While In Motion
• Put the vehicle into DRIVE.
• Select the “DVD” or “Aux In” function using the OEM touch screen.
• Press the “Voice” button located on the steering wheel four (4) times within 5 seconds, in order to enable and unlock the video in motion.
• You should now be able to see the image on the screen, either from your DVD player or Auxiliary input.
• To disable video in motion, simply repeat the process of pressing the “Voice” button on the vehicles steering wheel.
• Alternatively, you can press any button on the screen in order to revert back to the main menu.
• Please note: once you put the vehicle into park again, and then into drive, you have to follow the process again to unlock video in motion. The same applies if the car is turned off and restarted.

Not sure we tried, just pressing the voice/mute button, while in "Manual DVD Mode", maybe that will toggle it between DVD and the Aux input.

That was in the instructions, the DVD player plays Video In Motion, but can't toggle it to the Aux input.
G-Net recommended trying the dip switches in different positions, however after trying in every configuration twice, it seems the back up camera no longer works with the G-Net Module plugged in. Unplug the G-Net module and harness and the back cam works.
_____________
We find it strange there is no "Aux" button on the factory radio.

first, the units with rear entertainment are not the same as the ones without and this may be your problem. We sell both and have to determine whether it has rear DVD before the install. The ones ending in #0102 are for rear DVD, the ones ending in #0103 are not. There are some earlier model numbers that are different. The rear DVD models are the only ones that will have a DVD or AUXin button.....

Where are you getting the numbers?
This unit has the following on the headunit:
GM PN: 15896129
SUPERNAV
DELPHI PN: 28059049
April 01, 2006
(S) WBY528059049R360910036
From what you said and what I see it is safe to assume this truck is not for rear DVD, as there are no AUX input and there is no OEM over head monitor.
How do you toggle between DVD and the NEW AUX composite in? Also do I even have the right module? And what module do you recommend using?

I can't tell you anything about the mod you are using, we don't sell them. We are a dealer service company and install the factory Delphi units. The model #s you give are the early version, not for rear DVD(hence, not DVD button). My guess is the mod you have won't work with the navi you have, but it's just an educated guess. As i said, the rear DVD units are a totally different unit. I doubt using a Tech2 and changing programming would help.

Did you ever get this issue solved? If so, where did you get it.

We never got the the aux video input to work. Video-In-Motion worked fine. We ended up pulling the G-Net Module and returning it. Had we more time and another G-Net module, we would have liked to try swapping to see if the G-Net Module was bad. However, I still have a strong feeling that because this Escalade didn't have the OEM Rear Entertainment System getting an aux video in is impossible. I have seen a couple of places that claim this(G-Net being one) but never actually seen one work and can't find anyone who has actually done it.
