This is my first post but I thought I would join to tell you thanks, I read thru many post here and it made the install a bit easier for me.

I installed the Eclipse AVN 6610 with the bluetooth phone kit, the ipod kit and the back up camera. I installed it in a f350 superduty with extra cab.

I am very pleased with this unit, it is the first nav unit that works with vss that I have owned. Works excellent, I was using the Magellan roadmate 760.

The install took a few hours for me, but it went smoothly. With the Ford f350 the DD unit looks great in the dash, looks like it was made for it. The ipod unit I just ran the wire into the glove box, but I may hook this up into my center console instead. The ipod works great thru the 6610 and it does charge it. The back up camera is incrediable. I should mention my truck has a dump body, I ran the wire to the back near the hitch. I have what is called upfitter switches, which are factory installed, and fused relayed. So instead of hooking up the camera up to the reverse wire, I hooked it up to own of the switches. I preferred to choose when I used it.

The bluetooth hands free phone works well also, I have nothing to compare it to, but it does what I need it to do anyway.

Again thanks for all the info. Great site

Rob
