So I have another thread in this forum regarding mounting a double DIN HU in an 02' Silverado and my research on other sites has lead me to believe it's pretty much impossible without a lot of fabrication and customization. Sooo option 2 is a single DIN flip out monitor mounted in the stock location. However, after driving the truck and reading other posts on other forums, I've noticed and heard that there could be an issue with the shifter (it's an automatic) getting in the way of the screen's movement while in park. Can anyone confirm this and are there any workarounds to this issue?
Thanks!
Chris

A friend of mine had an 02 Yukon with a Panasonic double DIN in the stock loc. and all was well. I believe the dash is quite similar.
