We're doin a D3 in a 05 F150, car completely done and the customer forgot to tell us he wanted to integrate the factory o/h. Problem is after talking to our tech line, we find out that this comes on with a data signal from the factory deck. However, after looking on this bad-ass site right here, I find out about a harness called the 70-5520AV. Has anyone used this and will it work with this set-up or is there another way to get the power to come on? We already have a way to make sound from the O/H to the D3, but without power sound is moot. Any help would be greatly appreciated....

What we end up doing is leaving the factory deck in the truck turned on. Remove the brackets and it will slide down behind the heater controls leaving room for the AVIC. You will need to either get another power plug or hardwire to the existing one. You can then get signal from behind the radio for the overhead...
