avic n2 in 97 saturn vss wire?

Could someone tell me if the VSS wire for the 97 Saturn SC2 is the Purple wire for use with a navigation system? I have a chilton manual and I see two wires for the VSS, one wire is yellow and one wire is purple. The install sheets for the Pioneer AVIC N2 say the wire could be pink. So I am kind of hoping in this case the purple wire is the "pink" I am supposed to hook my navigation system up to. Thanks in Advance ~Stephen

Wow, that is one I have not heard yet. I called up Best Buy, ughh, and asked if they knew which one it would be. Since there are two wires to choose from the Associate kept saying use whatever the manual says. Again I told him there are 2 wires one purple and 1 yellow. He then said again use what the manual says. I am just confused now. Also the Chilton says the PCM is under the passenger side! Oh well I will call around and see what I can get. Thanks though.

Just wanted to let anyone who wants to know. I called Saturn near to where I live. And just by luck I caught a Tech who knew what I was talking about. The Chilton manual lists 2 wires. A yellow and a purple wire for the VSS Wire circuit. The Purple is the return to the Trans, and the yellow is from the Trans. You need to attach the Speed Sensor wire from the Avic N2 to the Yellow Wire. YEAH!!! take that Best Buy and CircuitCity who dont know crap!!!
