Alright, this is driving me crazy!  I had a customer in earlier today who's building a Pontiac Fiero kit car, and wants to mount a video monitor under the front hood of the car, so it will be vertical, facing the inside of the car, when the hood is raised.  Now here's the tricky part...I don't think it'll be a problem at all, but apparently he's been elsewhere, and other people have told him that the harsh vibration will damage ANY screen.  Anybody have an opinion on this subject?  Any suggestions in regard to what brand of screen to use?  Keep it around 10".  Thanks!

i veheard that when you place amps too close to subs the resistors and other things fall lose inside so i have been told about tvs when placed to close to amp so its possible and if it too close to the engine it might melt it . i would have to see a pic or diagram to be  sure bout the melting thing

the engines on the fiero's are in the rear (mid-engine). I have seen a few select flip downs have problems w/ vibrations on some SUV's. I would be skeptical about the vibrations that far forward.
