overhead monitor

I would power up unit and use some video source such as a DVD player and hook up input and see if you get video feed. You may just have to see what happens when you hook up to it. I guess it has no built in DVD player. Monitor only?

no the monitor doesnt have a dvd player or speakers but thats fine since im hooking this up to the aux in the radio and a laptop/video games im not to worried about the video in since i would amagine the yellow would be that but im more interested in the dome light working and i just went out and tryed to get continuity from the dome light in the monitor housing to one of the plugs in the harness and couldnt get one accually i mean i got alot almost all the wires had continuity with it so i think what im going to do is cut the wires going to the dome leds and run them separetly to the cars dome light especialy since the cars dome lights are negative triger and i bet the dome lights in the monitor are positive let me know if you have any other sugestions and if what im planing on doing will work thanks
