Ok so i was installing a Pioneer p4900 in a ford f150, if you know about that dvd player it the yellow constant has like a transformer or somthing in line that the a ground and the constant passes through.. Anyway, we got the ,metra harness, wired the radios harness to it power, accesory, Ground.. head unit dosnt turn on...
There is power during accesory and there is power at constant, and the ground is at the factory harness
Yet the h/u still dosnt power on, we even tried another one and it didnt work,
Whats going on? anyone familiar with this specific model and how its supposed to wired? im stumped

New out of the box? You CAN cut that stupid box off of the harness.

Try a diff. ground, there's plenty of metal behind that radio to tap

If there's a BLACK plastic case on the RED ignition wire, cut it out. It's probably the stupid resistor in there that has burned out.
