Hello, Great site and hope you can help this noob.
I am installing a Pioneer AVIC-D3 in a 2005 Hyundai Sonata and would like to hook up the speed sensor wire to the VSS.
In looking at Rostra's tech support site at:
http://www.rostra.com/techsupport-main.asp
I see other Hyundai's listed, but not the Sonata. All models listed show the wire to be the Brown wire in the:
LOCATION 7 - DIAGNOSTIC CONNECTOR BELOW STEERING COLUMN
Some models the wire is listed as:
The Accent and Elantra as: WHITE/ BLACK OR BLUE/BLACK
The Santa Fe as: BROWN
I have not looked at my Sonata's diagnostic connector yet to see what color wire is in the 7th position on that plug.
Am I correct in assuming that the 7th pin is still the correct location for the VSS on the 2005 Sonata?
Any assistance anyone can give will be appreciated!
Mark
