What can I do to upgrade to DVD?- the current system is a Rosen RVP9800 with wireless headphones.  I have access to a Rosen 5506 DVD system- like what is available in 2002+ model vans- but I need to know what to do to convert this system over.  Will the wireless headphones still work?.   Or is there a better choice of systems out there?  What about the electrical connections- is there a plug and play option to upgrade this system?  Thanks for your help- and a great forum...

You can simply remove the VCP and install a DVD player in its place. You can use the existing RCA's and get power there too. I have done a few and every time I have also had to add a video amplifier as well. The signal out of most DVD's isn't strong enough and you get a mostly garbled and black and white picture. If you don't want to loose the VCP, hardwire the DVD into the video's auxillary input jacks.
