howie II,
Help me understand. I should connect the the blue wire from the 556U to the brake wire and/or the black wire??? If I connect the blue wire, wouldn't that show a constant active status to the 556U and then damage it when I push the brake?? Maybe I don't understand what you mean.

Blue wire to blue? on main unit which goes to ground when remote start is initiated. Black is a permanent ground.

I'll take a stab at helping you.  Check your bypass wiring:  Black to ground, red to 12v constant, blue to blue on the 7-pin harness of the 771 that has the following wire colors on it:  pink/white, yellow, pink, orange, purple, ORANGE / black, blue.  I just want to make sure you have the correct blue wire.  I know you said you remote starting the car with the key in the "on" position, but if the above doesn't work, try starting it with the key in the "off" position to see if it starts correctly.  If it starts, you know you almost definetly have a bypass issue.  Hope this helps some.

Ok now I understand about the blue wire and all of that. Its all connected correctly (all the bypass wires). I grounded the bypass box while remote starting and it still didn't stay on. So I'm pretty sure its the bypass thats not working. I'll pick up another and try that.

If anyone had any other ideas, please share. Thanks for all your help thus far. I would've gone insane doing this one alone....lol

Does the key you have in the box start the car with no problems?
