i m going to install a after market alarm.... do i have to take out the existing factory alarm..or do i just tap into it?

Most likely its not an alarm just a keyless entry system with horn honk..(no shock sensor)You have to disable it or they will set each other off....go to the car diagram section of this site and see the disable wire color to disable it...

so i should leave the keyless entry alone?
i had another question
do i have to use any relays for my installation? or could i just tap into the wires i need to use?

definitely leave teh keyless alone.
what type of alarm is this?
assume this is for security and keyless, no remote start
door locks-no
siren-no
trunk pop-definitely have to
disarm-depend on alarm unit
the rest of the wires are plug and chug
