Good Afternoon,

I have an old HORNET 851T R/S and want to add it to my alarm rather than buy a new R/S. This is a low end model so it has limited features. I want to use an AUX off the alarm to activate it but cannot find on the manual what wire it is.

I know the Rattler and Valet series state in the manual (-) or (+) activation input, however the only wire I can tell may do this is  a wire in th emanual that says "(+) Ignition input to remote start". on the 5 pin remote start ribbon harness.

Has anyone installed one and do you think this is what this wire does?

 Thanks,

      Tom

There is no reference to an 851t on the DIE site. The standalone remote start addon is a 551t. The activation wire for that is WHITE/ blue its a -. If there is not WHITE/ blue what colors do you have to choose from?
