I need a wire diagram for this vehicle, also anything I should be aware of before i install a remote start alarm, I am adding power door locks and I bought a passlock bypass kit.

NOTE: This vehicle has the passlock II immobilizer system that, when adding a remote start, must be interfaced with. The passlock II wire colors are yellow, black, and RED / white (not used). *1 The BCM (Body Control Module) is under the driver side dash. *2 If Directed module part #456G is not available, refer to directfax document #1601. On base model trucks the lock wire is lt. blue (-) and unlock wire is white (-). They are in the lt. blue plug at the BCM. *3 On base model trucks the door trigger wires are in the lt. blue plug at the BCM. On 4dr trucks the LR door trigger is lt. blue/black, and the RR is lt. GREEN/ black. They are in the purple plug at the BCM. Use all wires and diode isolate.

Passlock wires are very thin gauge wires coming from the key cylinder. The ones you need are ORANGE / Black and Yellow.
I would suggest using a PLDATA to bypass the passlock though since it makes the install a piece of cake and it only takes a few minutres to install. You should also get a GMDL4 databus interface module. Take a look at them here:

Ok i have a yellow, RED / white, and a black. I have a bypass module and cut the yelllow wire and put them to the specified locations on the bypass thing and it wont start.

I have an 03 chevy pickup that will not start, it turns over but then dies. I hooked up the passlock 2 system and cut the yellow wire and noow it wont even start with the key. I pulled off the neg batt canble and and it sdtill dont work. help

I just insstalled rs on 03 cjhevy pu, it wont start at all now, just turns over. I installes the passlock 2 thing and it said cut the yellow wire coming off the key cylender, i did now it woint start.
help fast please

OK you need to tap that black wire. I thought all pickups and SUVs were ORANGE / Black, but maybe on the 2003 they went to Black.
Didnt your bypass module tell you to hook up a wire to the black passlock ground wire? What bypass module is it?
