What bypass module are you using. If all the bypasses that are keyless, they all require you to use 2 programmed keys to program the module. Check this out on your installation manual for the module.

Ok, I think i've got the remote start thing figured out, except for one thing... where should I hook up the power wire to the relay that activates the PATS bypass. Am I correct in thinking that this should only get power during cranking?

On to the next problem. I'm still having a problem with the alarm thinking that one of the doors is open. When I arm the system after closing the door, everything seems to be fine. about 20 seconds later, the siren chirps 3 times and the remote says "door" while beeping. The beeping eventually stops, the alarm shows armed, and works fine otherwise. If I open either door while armed, the alarm triggers. I tapped into the passenger/driver door pin wires that are grounded when the doors are open (back of fuse panel). I used diodes to isolate each door. The alarm has a wire for  neg.  when doors are open and one for pos when doors are open. Should I have both of these hooked up? I'm pretty stumped on this one. Thanks for your help.

I get the same problem with my ms2007.  I  think its the starter disable relay. Sometimes my car will not start unless it has 12.8 volts.  same with the remote start.  Try jumping your car to a car thats running and then try the remote start.
