Installed a remote start/keyless entry system into a 2000 dodge durango, everything works fine, however if you shut the doors and try to start the car remotely within say 2 minutes it triggers the factory alarm, which kills the ignition curcuit, sounds the horn and flashes the lights. I know that I need to hook up the disarm (-) output off the alarm to the wire in the car but am not sure the correct color please verify for me if possible. Wire color = lt. GREEN/ orange in drivers kick panel. Thanks

That is the correct wire. A ground pulse through a 1500 ohm resistor will disarm the factory alarm.

Hope this helps.

Since the door locks are + you have to use relay to convert it to negative and hook up to light GREEN/ orange in connectors next to parking brake assembly.  You have to pulse unlock (+) and disarm (-) at the same time.
