Well I have been on hiatus for about a year now, and slowly starting to come back around.
We made a move from NW missouri to Des Moines Iowa and I continued competing in USACI in which I took home my first world championship.   Shortly after I came to realization that I wasnt doing things for the reasons I had started competition.
It was time for a change, I began working on my CRX to begin traying to race it both at the drag strip and Autocross. That means every it of stereo equipment I hav with the exception of some things were sol off and removed from both cars. Last year I was able to run a best of 14.5@96MPH in the 1/4 mile with nothing but factory honda parts. Next year things will get crazy.
My GF meghan has finially finished school after 6+ years and she has started a ful time job, we are also expection our first child in 17 days! Due November 13th!
The 98 civic that we have will be dedicated to daily driving along with autocross duty.   It has already recieved a suspension upgrade ith the following. Tokico HP struts, Tein Springs, Civic SI front and rear sway bars, Pic lower control arms in the rear, and ome replaced worn out bushings.
The 98 civic will also see SQ duy when the CRX is done being built. I can only afford to work on one car at a time.
The CRX will be completly stripped down this winter to recieve a fresh coat of paint, all dents and ding pulled, a full cage, and a slew of go fast goodies.
The Ls/Vtec that did reside under the hood is out and everything is being changed. The transmission wil start with a b16 cable trann with a few gear changes and the addition of an afermarket LSD. The motor that will reside under the hood will start with a B20Z block punched out to 2.1 liters.   Holding 12.5:1 arias pistons mated to eagle rods and crank. We will be putting a GSR head atop with skunk 2 cams, springs, retainers, and a few other goodies. I will be using 550 cc injectors to feed E85 on a daily basis as compression will check in omewhere around 13.2:1 so pump gas is out of the question.   A ported eldelbrock victor X manifold normally used for turbo apps ill fed enough air for this NA application!   If all goes ell we intend for the car to run mid to low 11's in the 1/4 mile and still get to see the streets when I feel like taking it out.
As builds on both cars get further along I will post some more pics!
I should be back in the fourms ansering questions to the best of my ability again!

Hey Jeff, glad to see you back. Congratulations on becoming a dad soon. I wouldn't trade being a father for anything in the world, even though my 20 year old is attending LSU and partying heavily at my expense at the moment :|

Jeff, nice to let the forum know what you've been up to.  I love this stuff.
