First off in the nature of their designed they are suited more to ported.
In sealed enclosures the low end starts to roll of very soon...bass 40Hz and below sucks.
The sound is hollow and muffled. What else do you want to know.
Its the same as sticking a sub designed for ported enclosures into a sealed enclosure. It will sound like crap.

See that is being a little more helpful.
Below 40HZ isnt a real issue as most of the music will be rock and heavy metal.
I know ported they sound really well as i have heard them and installed them in ported applications before for customers. Im just asking about a sealed because this is one of the main options i have since its his car. Now, if i have to go with the sealed box with these dimensions what else would be recommended?

Well if you can even fit a 1.5 cu ft enclosure tuned to 35Hz it will sound very nice.
Sealed the bass sounds hollow and muffled IMO...decent for rock and metal but I always prefer ported or ported variants.
