Who installed the system?  Has it ever worked right?  Do you have an OEM security bypass?

What happens if you start the car with the key, remote start the vehicle, then pull the key out of the ignition?

The system was removed from my previous car, and installed on my 1994 civic, by the same installer.
Their is no security bypass at all.
Car starts fine with the key.
I can start the car remotely but it cuts out out after 4-5 sec. for some reason the alarm cuts the power from IGN wire going to the car side.
I also have the IGNITION accessory feature on this, when I press G5G5 ** once , the IGN comes on for 255 sec, then cuts out, I can do this any time,

Your alarm is a Clifford Concept 650 Mk ll with Intellistart. The alarm is supposed to cut the car side of the ignition, it has 2 imobilisers. Your last line, that's for a turbo timer, I mentioned that before questioning its value as your car doesn't normally have a turbocharger so that's the second time I've answered that one for you. Ignore it.

When you originally pm'd me you told me that you re-installed it. Now you are telling us someone else did it.  Didn't it work when he re-installed it, if so why not?  That's his problem before you pay him.

Kevin a 96 Civic UK spec is borderline for a transponder, all cars sold in Europe had to have them from 01/01/97, except for the Uk, 2 door hatches were made in Japan, 5 door hatches were UK, Estates were French and coupes were USA.

haward if im pain in da ass then sorry,no need you calling me a moran.
I am a newbi ,give us a chance.
Its a clifford concept 650 wiv intellistart.
No mark 2.
The system was removed from a turbocharged car.
Thats why i had a ignition accessory, another words turbo timer.
All workd find.
The guy who de.installd it and re.installd it,he didnt fit it neetly,it didnt work rite either.
So after downloading the manual i checkd all connection, fixd it neetly.
I figerd that the siren had some sort of fault,as it chirps 4, 2 days then no chirp.but once armd, disconnecting and reconnecting the siren plug cured this problem, 4 another couple of days.
I have now just 2 problems 2 resolve.
1.when startd remotley ,starts fine, but after 4 . 5 seconds it cuts off. Why?
2.anti hi.jax
Once disarmd key in ignition, drive of,as soon as i press the brake padle, after 20 second hi.jax kicks in.hazards flash, brake light flashes
enter code ,all ok.
I understand if code enterd b4 pressing the brake padle wil de.activate the anti hi.jax till next time when triggered.
But why doesnt the hi.jax work when driving.parkd at lights door opend.i.e if someone jacked the car.
As the door contact should trigger it again.
Because it workd fine in my old car.
Could it be a fault with the alarm unit.
How do i find out whats wrong
Again ive checked.
+ on 5amp and 30amp wire.
Intelistart plug harness
+ on red wire
- on black wire
GREEN/ black given - negitive 4 manual, connectd to above black wire.
Grey/black connected to rpm.
Rest are dead.cut off.
Hope that makes sence

If I call you a Moron, at least I spelt it right, secondly my name is HOward. My site or posting name is Howie ll, that should have been a clue.

Without hearing what happens this 4 secs run is puzzling me. Is the engine cranking that length of time?

Re Blackjax. Turn on key then enter your Blackjax code. Yet again please read the instructions. If you don't have them, pm me with your personal email and I'll send them on to you.  Have you checked that the BJ is programmed on?

Is your car a manual or auto?  If manual, disconnect GREEN/ black from black and use manual safety mode, it wil save you a bundle on lawsuits.

GREEN/ blue on Intellistart, connect to reverse light feed if auto  parking brake switch or warning light if manual.
